Maria's childcare wasn't our first choice. We enrolled our son at another school (bigger one) but after some hurdles, we pulled him out and started scrambling for options. Maria's day care happened to be the closest family day care to my home and therefore the first one that I called. Lucky for us, she has an opening for our son and she admitted him for the following week.
Having the experience of actually going there, I would say that Maria should have been our top choice! The 3 teachers that work there are all very sweet and easy to get along with. When I go there to pickup my son, all the children are in good mood and preoccupied each with their own activity.
What I like the most is that my priorities seem to align with the school's priorities - to me the most important things are that the children are fed, rested and pottied/changed. Obviously kept safe and optionally engaged in academic activities. Since enrolling at Maria's childcare our son's schedules for sleeping and potty got back to the same as pre-enrollment in the previous school and his growth also stabilized. All signs that he has been taken care of and I couldn't be happier.
On top of this, I really enjoy picking our son from the day care, because I get to see him enjoying an activity that he wanted to do. Maria's team never forces unwanted activities into the children and I believe this is how it should be!

I am so grateful to have had Maria and her assistant watch my son these last 6 months. She is kind and caring and loving, exactly the kind of person you'd hope to have care for your child while you work. She has a beautiful backyard with climbing structures, swings, tricycles and other toys and it gets plenty of shade in the summer. The kids play outside everyday. Maria cooks them breakfast, lunch and snacks. I never fear that my child is hungry. She reads them books, they do arts and crafts, and she teaches them Spanish. I highly recommend Maria's childcare to all babies and toddlers.
Maria has provided care for my son since he was 8 months old. My son is now 1 year and 9 months and he loves Maria as she is very attentive towards his needs. Maria cooks all the meals for the children and also plans activities for them. I am very happy and grateful for the care she has provided to my son. I would highly recommend her in a heartbeat. It is a hard decision to trust someone with your baby but Maria has been very supportive and done such an outstanding job and this has made it so much easier.
